Axerto is an assertive NFC tag in which advanced technological solutions are used to guarantee the result. Whether it is an adhesive label or a card, the technology does not change.
Each Axerto tag is unique and the data transmitted is encrypted making cloning ineffective. Any Axerto clone is detected as counterfeit.
No app to verify originality; all you need is your smartphone's internet browser to access the confirmation page.

In addition to product authentication, Axerto is also the Data Carrier of excellence for conveying the information of the Digital Product Passport (DPP), a set of data that accompanies the product throughout its life cycle. The DPP has multiple purposes ranging from informed purchase, reuse and disposal of products. For some products, such as clothing, the DPP will be mandatory from February 2027.

Traditional NFC tags, not to mention QR Codes, can be cloned rather easily and are therefore not usable to authenticate products. Axerto, thanks to the creation of a new data set at each reading, makes any of its clones unusable which inevitably contains an invalidated data set; the authenticity of the product is not confirmed.
The usual app to download, open, update? No, none of this! With Axerto you evaluate the originality of a product with your smartphone's internet browser in just three steps:
NFC is activated like other connection types such as WiFi or Bluetooth. On some iOS smartphones it is active by default.
Bring your smartphone closer to the Axerto tag; the NFC sensor is usually found on the back for Android smartphones and on top of the display for iPhone.
In a few moments your smartphone's internet browser (Chrome, Safari etc. etc.) will automatically open the authenticity confirmation page.
Axerto is not only simplicity for users, but also for producers: having designed the confirmation page together, called landing page, it is sufficient to apply the tag on the product or on its packaging > to be immediately operational. Furthermore, Axerto is also used to ensure the originality of documents and certificates.
For particular needs, Axerto can be developed in custom projects and integrated into already operational platforms.
